Sandra's story

Movement that fits you

For a long time, I thought fitness meant pushing harder. I ran, lifted weights, and did demanding workouts, and along the way I picked up injuries too.

Now, in my 60s, I think about movement differently. I focus on purposeful, enjoyable strength, balance, and agility, and the simple ability to get up and down from the floor and move around with ease.

"The exercise should fit your body."

My own experience with injuries and niggles, together with what I learned through treatment and further study, taught me to look at each person's own anatomy, history and way of moving — and to ask why an exercise is being done, rather than insisting there's one correct way.

There isn't one. There's the way that works for you, and that's the heart of every S Plan-Fit class.

Three ways to move

Every class is calm, supportive, and beginner-friendly. Choose the approach that feels right for you. There is no wrong place to start.

How the courses work

A simple four-week course

Each course runs over four weeks, building gently from week to week. It's a friendly way to begin, with no experience needed, and you move at your own pace throughout.

  1. Week 1

    Settle in

A gentle start. We take time to feel comfortable, learn the basics, and move at an easy pace.

  2. Week 2

    Build gently

We build on the basics with small, steady steps, nothing rushed, always at your pace.

  3. Week 3

    Find your rhythm

Movements begin to feel familiar and natural as you settle into a calm, steady rhythm.

  4. Week 4

    Feel the difference

We bring it all together so you can feel the quiet progress you've made over the four weeks.
